Catch McDermott live at the Liquid Room as part of EDGE Festival on August 13th
Following his sell out ABC gig in January, and his recent double date at Oran Mor during the West End Festival, McDermott also revealed he will be appearing at EDGE Festival 2008 on Wednesday 13th August. The gig, at the Liquid Room, promises to be another electric performance and once again unites McDermott with his muscular and watertight 7-piece band.

‘Wise To The Fade’ Album Favourite Available for Download only
Scottish rock legend Kevin McDermott announced today the release of an exclusive download only remixed version of September Songs from his critically acclaimed album ‘Wise To The Fade’.

September Songs (Spector Mix) is a restyled and reproduced version of the original album track that draws upon the anthemic qualities of the original recording whilst layering on a rich and engulfing tapestry of sound.

The final recording is punctuated by a beautiful vocal performance, and harnesses the artist’s honed orchestration skills and uniquely inherent ability to write and perform simply great music.

“I wanted to try something new on a couple of the album tracks, just cos,” said Kevin McDermott, “Folk seemed to like this particular choon and I felt it could handle it so indulged it, and me, in a spot of Spector...with little danger to my health..."
